Some uncles of the time

The last one or two years, there has been a lot of bad mood in the country regarding the announcement of the sighting of the moon during the months of Ramadan, Shawwal and Dhu al-Hajj.

Even before this, Mufti Popalzai used to challenge the Ruwit Hilal Committee and celebrate Eid with Saudi Arabia in Peshawar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but the situation today is unprecedented.
Different sects have their own views on this.

According to one, according to the hadiths, the sighting of the moon can be announced in any case only by looking at it with the naked eye, for which the evidence obtained from different regions is used as the basis.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is quoted as saying, “Do not start fasting until you see the moon, and if there is a cloud, then complete the count of thirty days.”

Circulation can be announced by making an estimate of its visibility from the devices that monitor the cycle.

Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry presented the idea of the lunar calendar which is followed in many Islamic countries before this, and accordingly also made predictions regarding the moons of Ramadan.

Shawwal and Zul Hajj, on which Chairman Ruwit Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman Sahib not only condemned it as undue interference but also expressed anger in response.

There was a time when there was no other way to see the moon than the human eye and it was impossible to see it with clouds, but the invention of the telescope and the microscope gave the human eye immense breadth and power.

Man got to see a new, vast and endless world, not only across the clouds but also beyond the stars.

Just as we can't deny the germs on our hands today if we can't see them with our eyes, so we can't deny the moon behind the clouds, because these inventions prove their presence.

If we look at the recent history, a large number of scholars not only disgusted with scientific technology but also seem to reject its inventions and declare them as haraam.

It is another matter that after some time this invention is not only halal but also halal. Comes fully into their personal use. Loudspeakers, cameras and TVs are examples.

Earlier, his attitude towards the "press" was that it was forbidden for four hundred years, the reward of which was transferred to the manuscripts of the Count, and a very small number of Muslims could benefit from the religious and secular knowledge. , While the disbelievers disseminated knowledge through it.

Scholars may have followed the lunar calendar by declaring it halal after a while, but so far they have been so disgusted with scientific technology and its inventions that they immediately declared its use haraam and then It takes years to recognize and adopt the utility.

Although it is not that they consider it human or satanic knowledge and deny the place of any knowledge other than religion in religion,

but in my humble opinion they know and understand this fact better than all of us ordinary Muslims.

That science is the same knowledge that the Lord of the worlds revealed to Adam (peace be upon him) in the name of knowledge acquired along with religion, and it never clashes with religious commands but always proves them to be true.

Thanks to science and technology, the planets, moons and stars for the world, whether they are in the palm of your hand or on the palm of your hand, for us Pakistanis, we are still "a few uncles away", and we don't know how long they will last ...
